Laziness (Slothful)

The bible clearly warns us about being lazy? indolent or unproductive?

We have a lazy society today in our country, and around the world. In America many want to live off the Government system and not work, collecting child support for having a lots of children, playing disabled for those who are not, stealing, live homeless and beg rather than work. Computer pirates stealing people personal data, rather than working on a legal job to earn their wages.

2 Thessalonians, 3rd chapter, 10 Verse - For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

This generation live at home longer, mooch off their parents, because they don't want the ownership and responsibility of taking care of their own self and own home.

Proverbs 20th Chapter, 4 verse The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold: therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.

Proverbs 24th chapter, 29 - 30 verses, I will render to the man according to his work. 30 I went by the field of the slothful and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding: 31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down 32 Then I was, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. 33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep 34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.

What all this mean is that, if you don't work, you should not eat, as mention in thessalonians. God is not pleased with Lazy People.
